Estela comes to visit . . .

Yes, you're looking at the correct date . . . Estela comes to visit the very NEXT day of my arrival BEFORE my husband even has the chance. She has been back in forth between China and the U.S. and she just can't make up her mind where she wants to be. My advice: "Just pick a country already, Stel!"

After the sleeping zombie finally woke up, we went to try this Japanese place called Ichiriki and shared a dish called "Nabe." It is a Japanese winter soup made with broth
and various meat & vegetables. It is common for nabe to be cooked right at the table and for the diners to eat it and cook it simultaneously. We also were introduced to a yummy cocktail, "soju." These are yummy drinks when mixed with fresh grapefruit or capico or apple puckers, but BEWARE they are creeper drinks!
